Open Lab Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 am and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

An Open Lab is an open training session that spans multiple hours and has no defined topic. Support personnel from the Office of Online Learning are available in a specific location to answer questions and provide one-on-one support as needed. Unlike scheduled training events, open labs are not content specific. However, topics available for training and troubleshooting are restricted to technologies supported by the Office of Online Learning.

Open Labs are available to all faculty and staff members regardless of technical experience. Topics for the open lab may include:

• Yuja


• Big Blue Button


• Office 365


• Skype for Business


• iClicker

Registering for this event is not required to attend, but it is strongly encouraged. Registration provides the support techs an opportunity to inquire about, or anticipate, specific needs of attendees.

This workshop is only available to faculty members at The University of Southern Mississippi.
